Have you ever thought about teaching? The chance to make a difference, give something back? No, I mean what teaching is really like? Standing up in front of thirty teenagers each lesson, rushing off to break duty, deciding how to teach quadratic equations in an engaging manner to year 9, carrying a set of books, set squares and tripods to a lesson, all whilst answering a year 8鈥檚 question about last week鈥檚 homework?
The 快撸视频 Teaching Internship programme is your chance to find out what teaching is really like.
Maybe you have always wanted to be a teacher, maybe you are thinking about it and want to find out more, or maybe you haven鈥檛 considered teacher training at all before now.
If you're an undergraduate studying science (physics, chemistry), computing, engineering, maths or MFL (French, German, Spanish) and interested in teaching any of these subjects in a secondary school we would love to hear from you.

What is the Teaching Internship Programme?
You would spend three weeks in June and July 2025 in one of our secondary schools in Dudley or Walsall. A specialised and personalised timetable of activities has been prepared for you to give a behind the scenes look at teaching.
During the three weeks, you would:
- be assigned your own mentor throughout the internship, the mentor is normally a highly experienced teacher in your subject area; they will support you throughout the three weeks, deconstructing their lessons with you and co-planning the teaching episodes you will eventually deliver
- observe, support, plan and deliver lessons gaining real classroom experience
- meet subject specialists in your chosen field, as well as early career teachers, teaching assistants and trainee teachers
- be attached to a tutor group
- receive introductory training in teaching learners with Special Educational Needs
- receive training and support which leads to you teaching a micro lesson
- visit a primary school and another contrasting school within our family of schools
- receive guidance and advice to support you in the next stage of your career
On the final day of the internship, you will receive guidance about the next steps into teaching.
Following on from the internship programme, you will be invited to join our Internship Alumni. This means that you would:
- automatically be invited to interview, should you choose to apply to our Schools Direct Teacher Training programme
- be kept up-to-date with any train to teach events that we or our teacher training providers are hosting\
In addition to these benefits, you鈥檒l be paid from 拢425 per week.
