Accelerate Action: Unlocking Opportunities for the Next Generation

At ¿ìߣÊÓƵ, we believe in opening doors for young people and inspiring them to see the limitless possibilities ahead. On Thursday 6th March 2025, we proudly welcomed students to Accelerate Action, a powerful careers event held at Windsor Olympus Academy.

The event was facilitated by the PA Forum and led by Daniel Skermer, Sarah James, and Rhiannon Hopcroft, with the support of members from the profession.  The event was a shining example of our commitment to empowering students and creating meaningful career pathways. With a deep passion for the profession,the PA Forum helped bring together industry experts, leading employers, and engaging sessions to give students real insight into the world of business support. We are incredibly proud of her and the impact she continues to make in this space.

The event featured an inspirational keynote from Tier Blundell, who shared his deeply personal journey of overcoming adversity. From facing rejection, racism, and school exclusion to discovering a love for learning and earning a place at Oxford University, Tier’s story was one of resilience, determination, and transformation. His powerful message resonated with students, showing them that setbacks do not define their future and that success comes from perseverance and self-belief.

This event was not just about career exploration—it was about inspiration, aspiration, and opportunity. Students engaged in four interactive zones, each designed to give them hands-on experiences and essential insights into the future of work:

🔹 Pathways to Progress – Students explored different routes into business support careers, including college courses, apprenticeships, and T-Levels, helping them understand the variety of options available for their future.

🔹 Future Connections – A fantastic networking opportunity where students met and engaged with leading employers, learning about the exciting career prospects within business support and administration.

🔹 Practical Pathways Zone – An immersive experience where students gained a real understanding of the day-to-day realities of business support roles, equipping them with key workplace skills and professional insights.

🔹 Agile Skills Zone – A unique and engaging session that challenged students to develop adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through a fun, hands-on circus skills workshop with , reinforcing the essential soft skills required in a fast-changing work environment.

We are incredibly proud to have provided yet another transformational experience for young people, reinforcing our belief that every student deserves access to high-quality career guidance and opportunities that unlock their full potential.
